Interesting read, thanks for uploading Paul , I`ve never seen the Thorn catalogue in its early Atlas form!, didn`t even know a Gamma 1, 2, and 9 existed!
I was born in 72, and I also wasn`t aware the Gamma 6 was in production then!!, the first installs of the G6 here was about 1984!

The Gamma Six was certainly very ahead of it's time! Would love to see how it would look lit by something like a PL-T or even a couple of 24w PL-Ls. Or dare I say it, a decent LED module! Thorn did a superb range back then although I'm surprised the triple tube 5' 80w fluorescent lanterns were still in production that late!
