I once had a 30w 284mm strip light stamped with the same message complete with crown in the centre of the lamp. God only knows what appended to it! I've estimated that the date code 37 is January 1953 if it was made during the BTH era?

I have these exact lamps in 200watt but with `British Railways` in the ring, nice find.
