Comments:The actual colour is a lot brighter and whiter than it appears here but this shot shows the lamp well. These are gradually replaced with HPS Philips Puma's when they fail. These old MV's seem to last decades.

It came out better than I hoped and it confirmed for me the brand of the lamp as I can't see the etch. EYE tubular lamps are very square at the end like this and they are the only manufacturer to still import them here.

I wasn't expecting to see the starting resistor in the lamp but it's there in the pic, the SLR digital camera dad gave me works bloody well.
