Comments:Photo from an Urbex some years ago shows mostly untouched vintage fittings. These recessed fittings lit a false ceiling above a power station control room that gave a somewhat likeness to natural skylights. The power station was a white elephant but remained grid connected and was hardly used before being mothballed.

Photo is not my own, but is re-used with permission from my friend that took it. [My] Youtube video here shows these fittings starting up: https://youtu.be/l0esZ1JAgO0

That is SRS porn! Lovely! I don't know if I dare ask... has this place been demolished now? These fittings look like AEI Atlantics or Crompton Sovereigns....

Now thats something you seldom see any more, a whole room full of SRS. Just picked up some SRS fittings (BLI branded) and the ends of the fittings look very much like these. I'll upload some pix as soon as I have a chance!

Inverkip looked like a fantastic place to have a sneak around. I remember seeing reports from it on a popular UE website some time ago. I imagine you could spend all day in there and not see half of it. Very Happy

I went 9 times and didn't see all of it, so you're right on that one ...
