Bet that place looked amazing back then!! Would love to step back in time and see it all in the flesh. Quickstart gear was the new thing in 1949 having been invented by Atlas two years earlier!

Yeah, it would be awsome to go back in time with some 840 tri-phosphor tubes, and say, "now have a look at the lighting with these in"!

Haha we'd blind the poor buggers! The original 80w tubes were only something like 2200 lumens! Imagine the stir such a lamp would cause? Then we really could blow their minds with an LED filament GLS!
