They're one of my all time favourites too.

Nice one! Is there an old atlas style bronze varnished choke in this one? How many fitting changes have you done on that side of the room now Eliot? Wink

Remember the knock off version that Thorn did of these, they were on sale at Argos in the late 80s, same set up but without the black end caps, and it came with a diffuser. These came with a Thorn 36watt 3500 tube though.

Nice fittings indeed. I am guessing you have quite a few holes in the ceiling by now Elliot. Smile

Thanks guys! LOL this a third ceiling point now, above where I have my desk! There are a few holes hidden behind the other fittings though Rolling Eyes

Na this one's got a later white Thorn choke in it Tom!

Hmmm I've seen the 'Domestic' Arrowslim Rich, that Thorn used to offer about 10 years ago! Basically a flimsier version of the current model complete with diffuser.

That would have been the one, it was rather flimsy.

Nice Very Happy got one of these too Elliot. The end caps pull out and rotate so you can have the lamp at 90 degrees if need be don't they?

Nice! Yeah they do! Smile
