Lovely bit of vintage circuitry there! Good bit of heatsinking on that old Motorola power transistor too! Loving those components! No namby pamby ROHS nonsense here! No doubt this does a good job of lighting the tube! Razz

Ahh - a proper TO3 mount transistor! They are quite tough things - now they squeeze stuff into small packages that can't dissipate the heat. That kinda board brings back memories.

Looks like all 4 pins are connected suggesting that this maybe does proper cathode heating?
