This reminds me Dad Might be getting me a Circular 22w Insectocutor light that he removed from a store last week... theres also a 2FT Twin one he may be able to get too, if anyone wants it i'll get him to bring it home too?

I did a video of the insides of mine: Bug zapper teardown + explanation You've got a nice transformer there, unlike mine with a Cockroft Walton voltage multiplier.

That's a really large HT transormer in that one! Most I've been in have either had voltage multipliers or far smaller transformers more similar to TV flyback transformers, never seen one with a big block of iron like that. Imagine that could give quite a nasty zap to any errant fingers!
