Bloody look at the bands on the superslim! That's a very early 90s PP why don't you guys get the modern PP to go to the new version

Does anyone know if the real real late last of the line 80s PP that actually went out of production in 1992 ever came with GB GE tubes or did the current twist lock ever come with thorns??

Very nice, we had the bottom two here in limited numbers imported from the UK but not the top two.

Awesome line up Tom! I agree with Kev, would be interesting to compare a modern MK15 to the 90s original!

Nice collection & pic. Smile

That one at the top looks closest to a standard fitting you'd see around here.

The one with the gray ends has a nice vintage look to it

I can get a stack of these 2x40w SuperSlims from the demolition shop although they need a lot of work done on them which is why I haven't bothered getting them yet.

@ kev i remember fitting some 8ft oval ended fittings with GE tubes back end of 92 and some 5fts in early 93. as far as i know the twist version never came with thorn tubes

Nice little history lesson Cool , battens do look better with the tubes mounted close, I liked on the 90s PPs where you could choose spacing settings.
