This is nice tom . There were quite a number of mercury Gamma 6 s left in Derby belonging to the housing department in the last few years. I dont know how many are left now , though I am sure one of them still remains . Ill try and do a pic of it if it does soon.

Sorry hadnt finished that and it posted !! I am also familiar with quite a number of early Gamma 6s in Norfolk . There is a housing estate in Attleborough in Norfolk which ahs quite a number of the very old SOX Gamma 6s with the very big deep base-casting . I only visit there a few times a year but will try and get some pic next time I am up there.

I'm in absolute LOVE with the Gamma 6, however i only accept SOX and MBF/U in my collection cause SON is way overused in our local area.

Is this on a private ground or a public footpath?

This is on a public road. Not sure if it still survives as a swathe of LED has invaded the local area since I wasn't even aware these were Gamma 6s until a few years ago! That shallow base casting totally threw me!
