Amazing! They look like tall Gamma 7s! We need to bring back fluorescent, especially now we have the high powered PL-Ls and T5s!

I don't know if every B&Q has it, or it's just mine, but they have a good example of how to use fluorescent. Modern T5 tubes (HO I assume) in 4 lampers mounted pretty high up. Gorgeous colour, I reckon probably 835 and they're bright enough, lovely light distribution, nowhere near as glary as MH and no ghastly shadows. They seem to really do the hours being electronic and the failure mode from what I can see is actually gradual merc starvation rather than just no light. Probably uses more power than MH but it's a far better uniform light IMO.

Judging from the cathode glow on the 7th post from front, I`d say they were PL too, they are like a modded G7! , wonder if it was a copy?
