First Tungsram low pressure sodium I've seen! An old SO/H even more so!! Amazing find! I wonder if this was made in Hungary or did they source it in? Protective cap for the dewar seal off tip suggests maybe BTH Mazda? Can we have a close up of the etch please John?

this screams mazda to me I think tungsram never made SO/H lamps only GEC Philips BLI(BTH/AEI) and the USSR made SO/H lamps

Like how the 45s were a similar size to the 18s of today.

Indeed Tungsram did not make LPS, and since back at this time both they and BTH Mazda were controlled by GE of America, it's perhaps logical that BTH supplied them. This lamp is a rather nice example with discharge tube made from borosilicate hard glass, instead of the more common soft glass.
