I would say 1987-1990 judging by the internals and the fact it's Thorn EMI branded.

Wasn't the EMI Dropped in 87? but only lasted from 84-87?... looks lovely that this gets a 5*

Thorn and EMI merged in 79 I think, and demerged in 88.
