Album name:Paul / Surface Fluorescent Luminaires
Comments:The Thorn Popular Pack from the early grey bodied model to the white T12 version, then the "crossover" T8 with the screw coverplate. After that the turnbuckle T8 came along, losing the square starter socket. Finally the PP as it is now.

Just need a Superslim and the original BC model and we have a complete line-up! But forget the latest version!

Splendid! Just needs two at the top and one at the bottom! Wink There must be minor variations between different aged Pop Packs which we consider the same model if the first one is an Atlas HD and latest one is a Mk16 PopPack Classic? Surprised I can't think of 16 variations myself!

I have a superslim twin and a MK16 twin - would they count? LOL

They'd fill in a couple of the gaps! Very Happy

@Eliot Paul and I have often pondered over just how there can be 16 variations. Like you said, gotta be stuff like ballast changes (there's been a few), lampholder springs changing from coiled to the single loop, change of wiring colours, capacitor changes and possibly even when the Superslim's cover plate screws changed from cheesehead to pan heads! Speaking of which, I've seen Superslims with the same black potted ballasts as per the grey siders! Another crossover example!

@Eliot. I really wouldnt bother with the latest. Do you not have a superslim paul? I dont know of anyone that has the first PP. They are RARE. That grey sided i sent is looking nice.! I knew it was not beyond it.

I have a superslim twin - the grey sided in the pic is Tom's, I haven't finished the Ekco yet. I need a pair of battens and that ballast, Kev.

Well, the Ekco is now restored! :woohoo:
