I love these early Thorn T8 Powersaver etches! Must be the very first Arrowslim offered in 2' T8 along with the 4' 36w! The 5' 50w would've changed to 58w at the same time! Great find! This and the 5' 58w would've had newly designed chokes, and the 4' 36w would've inherited the ballast from the 3' 6" 40w AS40 that arrived in the late 70s!

yes, i was lucky to find this. It was a 'chance discovery' on eBay. I have the 18' 15w, this one, and a 3' 30w arrowslim. Ive given up finding the 50w, but wouldn't mind finding a 36, or a 58w.. Even today, they still look very nice. And back then, the moveable lampholders, nothing else (I'm aware of) Had that.

It certainly was a design ahead of it's time!
