Comments:Here I have a (currently unidentified) reverse spine twin 58w Thorn fitting in old outhouse. It was bought back in the mid 90s to light the workbench from the local DIY store. It's somewhat worse for wear following 20 years in this damp outhouse.

It's branded Thorn as are the ballasts. Supplied with GE warm white tubes.

Yes I'm thinking the same thing Eliot! I may take the 6' version out of my bottom office soon as I want to replace the ceiling!

I have afew of these with the filter choke HF setup from 1991, most are dead now and survivors are installed in the loft. Lampholders are not great

Seen Thorns similar to this in the kebab vans in Oxford!
