Tams are still made to the old 80s recipe IIRC. Only problem is the lampholders can break as seen on here! Apart from that, they blow current Thorn out of the water!!

Yeah they're still decent battens, spine's made of pretty thick steel! Just gotta watch the lamp holders!

Another good thing about these is the lamp holders are still held to the fitting with springs, same as the old LPs. If some imbecile attempts to pull them away for relamping they wont snap off like the Tamlites and Crompacks!
