Amazing fitting and it accepts 15w T12s very nicely! Indeed it was a nice touch for Philips to include colour 83 lamps in this series of fittings. Earlier models in the domestic range were supplied with deluxe warm white Softone 32s! Interesting to see the diffuser is made in Great Britain, it looks very similar to the ones sold for the East German Ring fittings that were around at the time!
