Not my original install....
 not my house, only the black box and after is what I put in. The landlord got an electrical safety cert with this cabling in place, so that's good enough for them....

You can see where the grey T&E has faded from years in the sun! Plain copper MI would be my ideal choice of surface cabling on a brick wall! Something rather beautiful about pyro on a brick wall that's nicely weathered!
