Omg amazing! These look similar to the old things I found in rochdale on google street view! Wonder what the control gear is on these old beauties???

I'd say leak transformer type, look closely at the box on the pole where the cover has fallen off and the ballast is about to fall out.

You have better old street lighting than we do Al , good on your guys to still have these in service.

This is the lantern I was talking about Al, where there was a back road in Malawi lit with these.
