Nice! How does this compare to a modern 840? I know for a fact that the older 2' 20W Thorns 4000k I have are brighter than the modern GE 20w 840s I have?

I would say, that like the 36w Polylux 4000 it is a bit duller than say a Phillips 840.

Rescued from school c1990 if I remember rightly Kev! Been in our possession 25 years now!
