Very nice. I still remember seeing these back in the 1980's in the window of the jewellers and the shoe shop.

Yep these lamps did a great job of lighting shop windows! The lamp that sold millions of shoes!

this one is really quite interesting! pretty much every other GEC 125W MBF/R I have seen has had a more elongated bulb shape to better suit the mercury arc tubes light profile, where as this one has a standard R40 bulb, which I dont think I have seen before on a GEC lamp, and its interesting how the reflector goes just a little bit over the edge of the bulb into the face just a bit
