Made to measure! Ideal sort of setting for these lamps given the warm light. Do I spy a Goblin Teasmade there in addition to the Trimphone?

Looks good! A 3' fluorescent on the other hand would be overkill over a bed but it wouldn't be capable of scorching your pillow haha!

These don't actually seem to get anywhere near as hot as you would expect. I've only dealt with the 60W versions here, but even after hours of running they're still at a temperature where you can put your hand on the lamp without any real discomfort. That's one to check next time my other half has the IR camera home from work...

Yeah the results are quite impressive, no way could a 3' fluorescent do the job. Perfect for snuggling down too.

That is indeed a Teasmade on the cabinet, quite a recent NOS purchase. A marvellous device, wake up and your tea's made!
