The newer ones were fitted with plastic bowl clips, or you could order stainless steel ones as extras, the new 2 foot twin had the tube put closer together too, which made the fitting look much better.

Yes, the newer Wirefield twin fittings ar a much slimmer design (almost look like singles). Just make sure if you get one its one of their proper fittings, not one of the cheaper Chinese imports they sell as part of a budget range.

Forgot to add starters are inconveniently located on the tray with the choke. Always thought metal bowl clips were only for food factory applications.

Someone hasn't really thought of maintenance though, two of the clips seem a bit too close to the wall, or is it just the angle of the pic?

Just the angle, there's a good two inches between it and the wall, more annoying for maintenance is starters in the gear tray so it all has to come down.

Nice looking little fitting. Looks like it could maybe fit T12's too?
