Lovely! Not seen many SB versions of this style!

Interesting, is that a series twin starter in it?
SuperSix   [Apr 19, 2015 at 10:02 PM]
It's for single or series circuits. The series only thing on starters is pretty recent!

So its not one of them 15/22 watt single 110volt versions?

That's a Thorn style canister if ever I saw one, also being S&B... I hated these as you couldn't get them open easily without wrecking them!

Yes Paul i remember always wanting to open starters when my school friend and I got into lighting in the early 1980s. There were a lot of these still about then.

This one's rated 15-2' 40w 110-250v single or 200-250v series.

Hah, I remember always wanting to open them. I'm quite happy to leave them alone these days though!

There was a hell of a lot of these starters in circulation considering that style was only made from around 1969 to 76ish!
