Comments:Oxford's original streetlights! Column dates back to the late 19th century, from the gas lamp era and manufactured by local ironworks Lucy of Oxford who went on to producing switchgear including the famous Lucy streetlight fuse carriers. Lanterns were converted to 80w MBF until the late 90s then converted to 70w SON.

The MBF lamps were in glass refractor shades Rich and they looked superb!
