Don't think I've ever seen Thorn lampholders like these before. If only they'd used them on the later Pop Packs!

Makes 2 of us! I'd always assumed they only ever offered these in T12 flavour!

Only place I've seen these lampholders was on a 3' slim section fitting, kind of Arrowslim meets Fitzy SLP things! The chillers in our local Gateway/Somerfield had them with Philips 30w 84s! This was mid to late 80s. The candy floss stall at St Giles fair also had them along with Arrowslims! Tubes were Thorn 30w pinks and Kolor-rites! Looked bloody amazing! True fluorescent art!

But yes, wouldn't a full batten fitting with these be sweet? Imagine a T8 Atlantic?

Been thinking, I might have seen the same lampholders in on the central line carriages! I'll have to have another look next time.
