Comments: | On the box, it screams I'm another cheap generic DIY store fitting made from paper thin Coke can style metal with sharp edges but we were pleasantly surprised! If you can see past the HF ballast, here's a fitting that would merit a Thorn label from 30 years ago! The body is solid, probably 5 new Pop Packs have gone into this! |

Someone been to Homebase / Bunnings?
Yes indeed haha! Have to say, this is the best fitting I've seen on sale in a DIY store since the rebranded Crompack and Tamlite era!

Oh, ok. I figured they'd be crap. My local Homebase stocked them for a short while, but currently don't actually seem to sell any fluorescent fittings.

Have to agree I thought'd they'd be crap too, but it was the Atlantic series one styling that caught my eye! I suspect it'll be the ballast that'll ultimately let it down tho. That said, it's easily replaced! Thinking of getting a single 2' 14w model and fitting 13w SS gear!

Yea, my money would be on the ballast too!

Better than the `un PFCed` things B+Q are selling at the minute, however our Wickes seem to have gone all Sylvania LED just lately
