You lucky man! I'm after one of these to complete my 2ft colours! Is it like a very warm white tube, like a peach?

Yes mate, i know im lucky to have this gem.. And yes, it is like a very warm white peach colour. Its a very soft light, id love to light my place with these and kolorites

This definitely needs some comparative shots alongside common colours given that it's not one that many people will have seen. Does this have the really long persistence phosphor that pink/peach tubes often seem to?
Jools   [Apr 22, 2014 at 10:33 PM]
the persistence crown goes to my bright light lamps deluxe natural 2 foot T8. I will do a comparison shot with a kolorite tube in a little while. The amber tube does have a little after glow, but not a great deal

BLL 2' T8????? Bloody hell jools? This however is an extremely special rare lamp Shocked despite peach tubes being rarer than rocking horse shit anyway this one traveling 12000 miles to enter upon your collection! Shocked

yeah ive had the BLL tube for years kev. its got some amazing banding in it, and probably more mercury than 2 cases of new tubes. There is a pic on LG i think

Where is this T12 Used and I'd say it's about 2250 K same as a High Pressure Sodium Lamp

Im not sure where it would have been used when new, it came from Australia, Its a very soft light. Will try to do a comparison shot sometime
