Nice! Nothing like a good old T12 Popular Pack!

An SRS Pop Pack! Awesome! One of the blocks at my school had the same fittings which had prismatic diffusers and were joined by matching box sections to form a continuous row which spoiled these fittings. The caretakers would sometimes relamp with T8s... 'These new thin tubes are crap! They never work properly!!' LOL

The ballasts overheat too if you leave them on for a while with the ends glowing and the tube fails to start. They seem to survive okay but they get a lot hotter than they're supposed to. There were several still in use at my school before I left, 2 of them were still burning Osram-GEC Liteguards and that was last year!

Those Osram Liteguard tubes went on forever! Any still surviving would be well over 25 years old!
