Comments:Not quite sure of the vintage of this one, but it's an Atlas 12v 50w lamp with an ES cap which I can only assume was used before PAR38 lamps become the norm! Just gotta make sure you don't put this lamp in a mains fixture!!

The predescessor to the 12v halogen dichroics! These were originally used for airfield lighting until they caught the attention of display lighting designers back in the mid 60s, which marked birth of low voltage lighting!

Are they particularly bright? I might try firing this one up some time soon!
