It just arrived today like this and when I came to remove it from the box it seem loose. At first I just assumed the bulb had become detached from the cap, but then of course noticed this. It came as a box of 10 and was padded to the sides but not to the base or the top, so has probably received a knock. I haven't checked the others yet.

Had a few GE GLS 60w ES lamps do this to me. Went to get some more out of storage to put in the van the other day and several of the packs rattled when picked up. All had ringed off just like that. Bit of a bugger given they don't make them any more.....
