File information
Filename:GEC_Viatron.jpg
Album name:Paul / Mercury Vapour / HPS / Metal Halide Lanterns
Manufacturer:GEC
Model:Viatron
Comments:I think it may be one of the very first mercury vapour lanterns which used the old medium pressure MA mercury lamps. If so, this lantern would have had a magnetic arc deflector as the lamp would have been horizontal.

It was Leigh-On-Sea, Essex if I remember rightly, or Southend. Was about 4-5 years ago now. Snapped it whilst down that way in the lorry!
