Comments: | This installation of Cosmo's in a hospital carpark that my office designed 2 or 3 years ago are the only Cosmo's I've ever seen in Australia. Note one lamp appears to be dead. I've never seen Cosmo's actually running as I was only in this town for the day. |

Bloody dead lamp already how crap is that. Wonder what the ballasts are. These are probably 90W Cosmo!
Dunno what wattage; I might try to dig the design out of the archive when I get a minute.
Update= the ones in the pic are 140w. The design was completed in late 2010 so these were probably installed in 2011.

Maybe this is why we have so many lamps out in Cornwall now lol I bet whoever relampes this will go up expecting some kind of normal halide / CDM will of never seen Cosmo in their lives before maybe break the lamp trying to get it out and then struggle to get one lol lol lol oh and have a heart attack at the £65 per lamp mark!
F*ck me are they really that expensive? Yep no wholesaler here would stock Cosmo lamps, they'd have to buy them in. £65 is like $100, the sparky would have a coronary. Especially if they only last 12 months.

Maybe the shape of streetlighting to come Downunder? I hope not! It's a race between LED and Cosmo spreading like a nasty rash here!
Maybe they would have the Venture versions?
Ventrue version is 100% Philips made! The world leader in metal halide technology buys their lamps from Philips!
Thats why their world leaders then!
I doubt there's any Cosmo still being installed here now; everything's gone LED.
Cosmo still more efficient 140 Lm/W I believe the 140W is?
