OMG! Nice one! See you have a good old Thorn T12 Popular Pack there too! Cool

Yup, that's standing on top of a cabinet up the corner. It was my bedside table lamp until I moved the furniture around recently! Very Happy 6ft 85W with SRS gear

SOX lantern on a bedroom wall! Love it!! I once had an Osram 90w SOX lamp and an old Philips 'leak transformer' ballast which weighed a ton and was made to run the old 45 to 85w SOH lamps from back in the day. So I wired them up on my bedroom desk (I was meant to be doing homework lol) and the lamp seemed to take an age to warm up. It was'nt until I returned to my room after tea that I was blinded by the intense monochromatic yellow light of a full brightness 90w SOX lamp!! Awesome!
