@Kev I have that switch start ballast-set from you connected to a 7-foot 100w lamp (without the capacitor) that seems to work perfectly & the ballasts just get warm ...
I've found with these (and capacitor connected) the ballasts get hot .
I really hope to come across one of those rare F108T12 (9' 124w) lamps & test it too {and do a 8' T8 too LOL}
Those ballasts are cool..I just don't want to risk overheating them...
If I eventually get a 9' lamp that would be awesome to see fire up on switch start!
