Well I put both in seres then conected them to an 18W ballast (a 36W ballast will work beter) and then conected the 18W ballast to my 180W SOX ballast. starting was diffecalt but I did get them going

I wonder if a 277v/60hz slimline ballast would work on your 240v/50hz

@Jay would probably work better than hooking them up to a 180W Leak transformer
