Not seen one like this! Only 50w 5' ballasts I've seen are the old bronze-gold coloured chokes as found in the old Arrowslims. Yet to see a 50w SRS tho! Smile

I've known of tubular shaped 5' 50W resonant start ballasts but never a standard choke. They're normally like you've just said Tom, shiny gold ones or some of the later ones being white but in a similar shape!

I wish I'd of got this really! Got hold of some Philips 5' 50Ws and could easily convert a modern batten fitting!
