Atlas 2x40w SS Popular Pack

I've decided not to repaint it as the grey is original and not too rusty.

Ahhh id leave the cap in! Whats the worst it can do? Bang? Its looking good though, you just know it all works! I wonder if there were actually more or why there is just this ONE in that you have seen over there?

That's what I can't figure out Kev, why bring only a few in unless Thorn/Atlas Australia were testing the market first, it probably cost more than an Aussie-made Pop Pack as it was fully imported. Maybe there were supply problems with the Aussie version at the time (i.e. workers strike...)

I know of a shop that has at least 75 rows of 6 of the Pop pack fluorescents, in 8', with various lamp holder styles (some have the V type, some have these wishbone type) unfortunately though theyre all white sided Neutral also I missed out on a load of these SRS fittings, in single, grey sided, with prismatic shades from my school too. there was 14 of these classics, all probably skipped now Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

That's a shame Dave, I would LOVE to see an 8 foot version of this but alas 8 footers of any type are very very rare here.

shame! 8'ers are as common as muck here.

This is looking Good AL where you going to install this one?

Not for long tho guys i think within 5 years 8 foots will be gone!

The building where all these 8'ers are installed is due to be pulled down sometime soon. I'm keeping a very close eye on all the buildings, as theres some very rare bulkheads and a 50's Benjamin shovel in danger here. I'll try to rescue some, but i aint holding much hope, as the last 6 attempts i've made have completely failed.
