So these are the proper single pin lamp holders?, its rare to see single pin tubes here, like the ones Kev has, but I haven`t see the holders for them here before.

Yep, these are the proper single pin lampholders...for US single pin tubes.

The single pin tubes you guys have, have a longer thinner pin, but I would assume it uses a very similar setup for (...) 6' & 8' T12 lamps here are almost always single-pin like this.

These use Instant start magnetic lead/lag gear, I have one of those double twin strip light too.

@SuperSix: Nope, no starting strips on the lamps, an autotransformer ballast (as funkylamp magnetic lead/lag). In the case of this fitting's ballast it has an OCV of 750v
