Having just installed a ton of these in a warehouse I can safely say I HATE the new tombstone lampholders that Crompton are now using. Several broke whilst being inserted into the plastic end cap and I almost sliced a finger off on the sharp edge on another. This just says cheapo crap to me now Bring back the old end caps and metal bridge they clipped into, a much better (and safer) design! I also noted that you now can't install T12 lamps into the newer design of fitting as T8's used in these actually touch the spine of the fitting!

An example of something that has got lesser in terms of quality yet probably still the same price if not more!
