What a great find pat! Tbh anything branded ENDURA is rare as hell as they hardly ever used to bother branding their lamps yet alone fittings! You need to keep this one safe and maybe give it the once over! I'd also say that you are right about this being a CP those spring lamp holders are a dead give away. Looks like it's got some good hours on it too!

Thanks, there was no date on the cap though so I'm gonna assume late 70's. I think it had a previous life in a kitchen due to the dirt caked on it (kitchen in the house now lit by halogen GU10 spots Rolling Eyes )

Oh what an energy saving great upgrade. I'm sure the GU10 lamps will last way longer than a decent fluorescent.

lol I'm sure they will Wink I replaced this with Tegral HF, wonder how long the Helvar 2x58 will last....
