Absolutely amazing to find one of these NOS in box! they used to have these in SRS at my dads old work in the warehouse in the main office there was a about 15 and there would always be one with a large 3" black sock on the end! These are rare over here now let alone new in box!

Shiny new, very nice find Al!

Did this come with tube Al? Also, was it packed without lamp with the battens packed inside the fitting, like a crompack?

Thanks for the nice comments all. It didn't come with a lamp, I just added this Thorn EMI for the pic. Sorry, I don't know how a Crompack is packed as we never had them. I found it next to a stack of rusty SuperSlims at the best demolition recycle shop in Brisbane.

You guys never had Crompacks downunder? That surprises me! Basically they had the lampholders packed inside the spine as a kind of flatpack idea.
