Nice lamp. I think this is the same as the one I have but in a different style packet. I always thought the powertone lamps were just SON.

These lamps are truly lovely! Yep you should get a BC! Being not great in the brightness stakes makes these great indoors too!

Thanks guys! I shall look into getting BC versions Tom! I almost forgot earlier that I work for a bloody electrical wholesalers and was wondering where I might find some for a reasonable price! Rolling Eyes

Had a look in the specialist lamps catalogue, no 100 watters listed at all unfortunately but there's 80W ES ones in there! Shocked It could be a mistake but they have a different Part Number and Order Code to the standard 80W MBF/Us!

Just had 3 of these beauties arrive today! Belgian made with with a phosphor thin enough to see inside!! Dated 9J September 99!
