LOL what is this being overdriven by? 150w ballast?
 I remember trying a Philips 150w SON-E on a 250w MBF ballast many moons ago. That was a bright little bugger too!

Two 70W ballasts in parallel! It couldn't handle it though, lamp voltage rose too high and the arc extinguished, then a glow discharge struck inside the thermal cut out so the extreme heat must have vapourised something!
