Loving the 80s phone Very Happy
SuperSix   [Aug 07, 2011 at 04:25 PM]
Lol it certainly was! I nearly had a fit when I found them!!! I said you never know what you might find! Very Happy

Lol thanks Rich, not quite 80s though, 1979! Razz
Tom   [Aug 07, 2011 at 04:26 PM]
I reckon these are circa 1979-80. It's nice to know that these didn't end up being snapped up like any other random fitting and being installed in some shed with the boxes being binned, they found a good home instead!! Well done mate!
SuperSix   [Aug 07, 2011 at 04:28 PM]
Yeah I think so too Tom, not got any EMI branding on it too and they merged towards the end of 79. Lol I was thinking that, if some old fart had of bought it for his shed! Shocked Thanks!

I do like how you've put them alongside a Trimphone from the same era! Ours was a similar colour to the handset, a sort of dark greyish blue colour...
Paul   [Aug 07, 2011 at 05:09 PM]
All I can say is that I'm speechless!
SuperSix   [Aug 07, 2011 at 05:22 PM]
Lol yeah, there's Trimphones everywhere in my bedroom though, and one in the hall as the main phone Razz The colour you've discribed is how the phone in the picture would have been, the previous owner must have had it in the sun as it's faded a green colour.

I still can't believe I got these! Any sort of boxed 70s Pop Pack is rare, 2' is just Shocked !

Kev   [Aug 07, 2011 at 08:37 PM]
I would take a guess at £5 each or something STUPID like that lol

That is a beauty! I'd love to find another 20w PP. Mine is rather battered but good for testing my 2 footers with.
