These are your typical CW lamp in USA and these are still made. around
In the US is used in Residential lighting and some commercial as well
In 2x2 troffers and in display cases

Nearly every shop I have been to in the USA has these green ended Alto tubes installed! I think they are 4100k. The low power versions of these are absolute $hite such as the 34w which supposedly replaces the 40w and can overheat the ballast.

Yes I was amazed to find these, in with a box of standard GE and Osram 18W 35s! No idea where they came from!

Got one of these off Eliot. I was surprised just how dim they are in comparison to a bog standard 20w/33 They seemed to me to be more colour 35 as well. Let it run for ages, but that was as bright as it got!

The US cool white ~4100K certainly isn't as good as our old 4300K 33!
