I still reckon Thorn made the best looking, neat, slimline fitting of all time with the T12 PP and the diffusers. No fitting has bettered it since IMHO!

my favorite has to be the Atlantics then Crompack 3s then PPs... ive got my PP136 fitted with the other style difuuser

Completely agree Paul! They still look modern Today!

At the other end I think Crompton's Sovereign had to be the best looking modern wide bodied batten you could get! Like a Crompack on steroids! Much like the old grey enders!

Based on the criteria specified, the Atlantic fails as it's not as slim (I still like the Atlantic) and as far as the diffusers on the Crompack are concerned, I remember something that used to be in my school report... 'needs to try harder!'

would this diffuser fit on the PP i sent you eliot, yes I agree the PP still looks modern today, I think my SRS twin PPQ240 still looks modern

It would indeed! Not straight out the pack though as there's a couple of tabs on the diffuser caps that slot in the holes on the ends of the MK15 PP. I had to shave them down to fit it on this old PP!

These will always look good, completely timeless.

Looking good up there! What number fitting is this to have gone up there now? 47? Laughing
SuperSix   [Jul 28, 2013 at 09:58 AM]
Thanks! I've lost count Rolling Eyes It's silly really!

Certainly looks the part up there and hopefully ties in well with the angle reflector LP20s? What lamp is in there? Warm white 29?
SuperSix   [Jul 28, 2013 at 12:50 PM]
It does indeed, only thing I'm not so keen on now is the mix of HF and switchstart! Seperately switched so shouldnt cause problems though!
Got a GE Polylux 835 in at the mo from you and Paul! G

This looks really good. Reminds me of what was in t he old garage (even though they were T12).

Diffusers look their best like this! Very Happy , clean, no cracks, and not full of dead stuff!, as you see normally. Confused

Has to be the best design, that's why many other mfgs have copied - great condition
