EC Gough Ltd 90w SOX

These and the Z9464 were my favourite SOX when I was growing up in NZ. Now almost extinct.

Comments:Like with the EC Gough Radiata (also a tree and similar design to REVO Horizon), this appears to also take cues from REVO lights of the same era. The lens is similar to a REVO Hyperion A but has a larger section at the spigot end that encloses the gear.

Let me guess, one of the minor road lanterns was called a Galah! Just hope they never caught fire....

Nah, no galah's in New Zealand.

You may have actually answered a long standing question for me... what make the luminaire is in this pic on the far left... here

Hi Paul, I'm not aware of NZ exporting any lights beyond Australia but I think Colin may be right in that they look like the Thomas & Betts fittings. BEKA lighting is a large street light manufacturer based in South Africa so it could also be one of theirs.

Hmmm... not sure. The bowl is all encasing like the EC Gough, not a separate gear enclosure for the gear. Makes in use were Revo, GEC and Elecos mainly.
