This photo is cool who can spot where it says atlas lamps? Wonder what's here now then?

Oh wow! Awesomely spotted Kev!! Such a shame this has been flattened! Not been over this way for a while but remember seeing signs for a new industrial called something like Illuma Park. Crying or Very sad

I can imagine what that would have looked like with Atlas Lamps written on it, Kev!

What was the reason this shut down?
Tom   [Aug 25, 2014 at 07:46 PM]
Simply because it's cheaper to produce lamps overseas Liam! Sad fact of business economics lead to the loss of this iconic factory! All time greats such as the 2D and the majority of Thorn tubes were all made here!
Kev   [Aug 25, 2014 at 11:39 PM]
Can anyone make out what the rest of the signage is?
Liam   [Aug 26, 2014 at 12:04 AM]
Looks like TUBE
Liam   [Aug 26, 2014 at 12:05 AM]
Could say ATLAS LAMPS & TUBES ?
Kev   [Aug 26, 2014 at 12:29 AM]
Correct but what about along the top?

Note also, (with GE being American), they have put USA under the GE badge on the tall building!
